Hughes Medical Consulting is a full service occupational medicine consulting and aviation medical examination service.  Founded in 1990 by John S. Hughes, M.D., the medical practice has evolved to partner with Colorado's largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, Centura Health.

 We provide the following services:

• Workers' Compensation Independent Medical Examinations
• Personal Injury Independent Medical Examinations
• Occupational Medicine Consulting regarding disability (attorney represented cases only, please).
• Corporate Medical Direction
• Workers' Compensational Insurance Medical Advisory reviews

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are spacing patients out to avoid the possibility of patient to patient exposure. 

We are still happy to see patients. 

Pilots, we are continuing to do face to face aviation medical examinations as required by the FAA.

We have been required by the FAA to go 'paperless'. Please submit your information through FAA MedXpress website. The program will give you an access number for us to use when we complete your exam. Please bring this number with you to your appointment.
